The European Logistics Center in Bad Mergentheim

27.5 Million Euros have been invested in the construction of these new logistical buildings.

Incoming and outgoing goods areas

The new incoming and outgoing complex covers an area of 6,500 m². Pallet and container handling ensure fast transportation routes and direct access to new and existing warehouses.

OSR Shuttle

The core piece of the new logistics warehouse is the OSR (Order Storage and Retrieval) shuttle. The OSR has four lanes, which are independently and redundantly designed. This OSR shuttle has a height of 24 meters and a similar system has never been built up before. In the first stage of construction, the capacity of storage covers 128 000 sites with the format 300x400 mm.

High bay warehouse

The most impressive building of the new logistics center is the new high bay warehouse with a total length of 85 meters, a height of 45 meters and 24,000 pallet sites in the first stage of construction. It serves as storage for all C-Parts that are part of a kanban system and includes four stacker cranes for automated storage and retrieval of articles.
