Corporate citizenship of Würth Industrie Service: social action, culture and the region
---
Regional soccer clubs, Heidi Jesberger, an international success as triathlete and ironwoman, and the triathlon team of TV 1848 Erlangen e.V. are all supported by Würth Industrie Service.
The focus of Würth Industrie Service's corporate citizenship in the cultural area is on improving the quality of life and recreational activites of its employees and inhabitants in the Tauber-Franken region. We support regional art and culture by sponsoring wandering exhibits at the Deutschordensmuseum Bad Mergentheim (Museum of the Teutonic Order) and various events.
"To charm a smile on the faces of children." That's the goal of the annual fundraiser. A significant donation check is presented to the Parent's Initiative for Children with Leukemia and Tumors of the Rainbow Ward at the Würzburg University Hospital and to the Lorenz-Fries Special School in Bad Mergentheim. At the annual event called "It's an honor to help out: Temping for a good cause, " Würth Industrie Service also gives high school students an early opportunity to get a glimpse of how things look like in practice. The wage they earn goes to a social organization chosen by the students.
