I started my fastener career in 1974 and have been involved in many changes in the industry as manufacturing has shifted, adjusted and evolved to what we have today.

In 2005 I had the opportunity to look around and ask, who do I want to work for? The answer was quick and simple, Würth. With one phone call I became employed with the greatest fastener company in the industry. And, still a family business.

I enjoy utilizing the vast experience I’ve obtained over the last 40-plus years to teach what I have learned. It’s particularly inspiring to see someone’s lightbulb come on when they finally comprehend a concept or point being taught.

Taking the classroom to another level and the idea of what this can become is exciting, energizing, and a little scary, all at the same time.

It’s a lot of work to just shoot a 20-minute episode. The assembly of composition created by the production company on the backside puts it all together in a cohesive viewable product. Those people and the work they do are incredible.

I find relaxation driving my tractor and doing work at our country retreat. My wife and I are also visiting as many national parks as possible and enjoying travel.
